Who is this site for?
This site is for anyone who loves to travel. It is also for anyone who wants to be healthy and fit. If you all into one or both of those categories, you are in the right place. Even if you don’t consider yourself a traveler or someone who cares much about an active and healthy lifestyle, you might still find some inspiration and motivation.
This site is for the individual who is going on a short vacation from work all the way to the full-time digital nomad who might be making travel a full-time career. Where ever you fit in the world of travel, I can guarantee that you will find something inspiring from looking through my content and resources.
Philosophy of One Fit Nomad
I created One Fit Nomad as a platform to share what I have learned about fitness and travel. I believe that travel doesn’t have to be a break from being healthy or a time to indulge and gain unnecessary weight. I stay fit while I travel and I have found creative ways to be healthy in what I eat and how I spend my days on the road. I travel a lot and I enjoy active holidays so I seek out adventure and opportunities to use fitness in my everyday life. This could be hiking a mountain in Borneo, diving into the coral reefs of Thailand or biking around Hong Kong to see the major sites. I will tell you how I do it and how you can do it too.
My mission is to give you the resources and inspiration that you need to stay healthy and fit while you travel.
What can I learn from this site?
I offer practical advice on how to stay fit while you travel. The aim of this site is to provide you with content about a variety of topics.

You will find information and first-hand experience related to fitness. There will be everything from gym reviews, hotel workouts, apps to find gyms in different countries, and guides to fitness in various cities to name a few. I am not a fitness expert! – but I am always learning and growing and I strive to bring you the best information.
Travel is at the core of my writing and experiences. All of the posts on this site will have travel at the core of the content. I may be writing about fitness in a particular country or city or I may be showing you some travel-related content while I am on the road. Whatever the situation, you can be sure to find inspiration to, not only keep fit, but also to travel!
This will be a category list of all the activities related to fitness that I embark on through my travels. For example, you might information about hiking in Malaysia, whitewater rafting in Thailand, Crossfit in Hong Kong, running routes in South Korea, or geocaching in Bangkok!
Finally, nutrition can’t be neglected as part of the health and fitness equation. Without good nutrition, you will have a harder time getting fitter or even just maintaining your fitness. I will incorporate how I eat on the road while also reviewing clean eating cafe’s and restaurants as well as travel hacks for eating local food, airplane snacks and many more.
